The Experience Music Project (EMP) in Seattle, Washington, is a very cool stop to make in your travels in that great Pacific Northwest city. First, the building itself is fantastic. Apparently designed to convey the energy and fluidity of music, the building is curved with a stainless steel "wrap", and includes several very colorful sections as well. But don't just stop to take pictures on the outside. Definitely go in and check out the EMP for a fun, immersive educational experience all about music. My favorite exhibit there is the Jimmy Hendrix exhibit, which featured a ton of great stories about, and music from the local music legend.
