Here's a shot of the iconic Balboa Park California Tower, which, along with the dome, is an attraction at the Museum of Man. If you are visiting San Diego this summer, do yourself a favor and make it over to the beautiful Balboa Park, you will not be disappointed. Did you know that you can now buy tickets to go to the top of the Tower?
From our 2012 RV trip across the Western United States, this is one of just a few shots where I'm in the picture (since I'm the one always taking them). This is at Zion National Park, just before you arrive at the tunnel from the East Entrance. We got out to do a little hike, and enjoy the beautiful scenery there. Bailey is the best sitter, isn't she?

In 1999, DJ, Darcy and I went on a cruise down to Mexico with our good friends, the Fienes and the Hartmans. We had a fantastic time with our friends, and also got to enjoy the amazing scenery. This is Land's End at Cabo San Lucas. We got to depart from the ship for about a half day in Cabo, where we made our way to the infamous "The Office" bar, which is right on the beach. We've since been to Cabo one other time, for the wedding of friends of ours. We'll make it back there again, as it is a great destination spot for vacationing.
Mount Thielsen is just north of Crater Lake, in Oregon, near Diamond Lake. This was taken as we were driving the on beautiful Highway 138. Mount Thielsen is an "extinct" volcano, and is a popular place to hike.
