On my trip to Paris in June, I did a lot of walking, and saw a lot of Paris as a result. This was taken on the walk from our GoPro office in Issy back to the Airbnb in Montmarte area.

Winding Colorado Panorama - Dead Horse Point - Utah

Five years ago today, Darcy and I spent the entire day near Moab, Utah, visiting Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point. This is the Colorado River as it winds through the canyon to merge with the Green River, as seen from Dead Horse Point in the late afternoon. If/when you visit, be sure to stay for the beautiful sunset!

Mount Laurel and Convict Lake - Eastern Sierra Nevadas - California

This one is from last October, 2016, when we spent a week up near Mammoth. We got an early snowfall, which made from some beautiful snow-peaked mountains in the backgrounds of the photos. Convict Lake is an awesome place to stop for a picnic. Very quiet and, of course, scenic.

Gardiner - The Gateway to Yellowstone - Montana

The little town of Gardiner, Montana, is the official Gateway to Yellowstone from the north side of the park. It is surrounded by beauty, and set in the foothills. This is where we stayed for a couple of nights when we went through Yellowstone on our trip in 2012.

Bonsai Tree - Japanese Garden - Washington Park - Portland - Oregon

This Bonsai Tree is located in the Japanese Garden in Washington Park in Portland, OR, where we visited back in 2014. The entire Japanese Garden is a beautifully peaceful area.

Yosemite Falls and the Merced River - Yosemite National Park - California

This is from a few years ago in mid-May following a decently, but not spectacularly, wet winter. The waterfalls and river flow were impressive. I imagine they'll be just amazing this spring and early summer. Definitely need to get to Yosemite in 2017!

This one is from the 2016 holiday season. There is a lot more snow up there now, but the sunsets are still beautiful!

Denali National Park - Denali - Alaska

My parents are planning out a trip to Alaska this summer, and while discussing what we did back in 2009, I reminisced about the beauty of Denali National Park. My dad wanted to know which time they should reserve for their bus tour through the park, and I told him as early as possible. We got to see the sunrise, and there were a lot of animals out and about at that time. This stop was just after sunrise.

Eastern Sierras - Bishop - California

This was taken between Bishop and Independence along I-395 south on our drive home from Tahoe over the holidays. The Eastern Sierra Nevadas tower over the desert landscape all along this beautiful drive.

Sunset at Bryce Canyon National Park - Utah

If I could easily visit Bryce year round, I'd be stoked. Bryce is one of my favorite National Parks, and is amazing for photographers. The sandstone colors, and the shadows, create an ever-changing landscape from dawn until dusk, in the night, and even different throughout the seasons.

The Grand Canyon of The Yellowstone - Yellowstone National Park - Wyoming

The first time you see The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, with the Yellowstone River running through it, it is remarkable. It was very different from what I expected, and absolutely magnificent. Yellowstone has soooo many different things to see, but be sure you take the time to see this when you visit.
