Wednesday Moonshot
Not that I should have, but I shot this handheld last week (I didn't have my tripod near me), and was quite pleased with it.

Cave Rock - Lake Tahoe - Nevada
Cave Rock is located just north of Zephyr Cove in Lake Tahoe, along the Scenic US 50. We typically launch the boats from here, heading north if we're doing water activities (water skiing, wakeboarding, wake surfing, etc.), or south toward Edgewood for the annual Celebrity Golf Tournament. This shot is from last Friday as we were returning from the tournament, and a large storm was heading toward us from the North.

Take a Hike to Grass Lake - South Lake Tahoe - California
Take the road to Fallen Leaf Lake, and keep going up the hill until you get to the Glen Alpine trailhead, up by Lily Lake. Then hike just a few miles to the beautiful Grass Lake. There are a lot of very cool things to see along the way, including a historic campground that thrived in the days before automobiles became a fairly standard transportation.

The Colorado River Winding Through Dead Horse Point
Dead Horse Point is an incredible place. This State Park just outside of Canyonlands National Park, near Moab Utah, offers views of the Colorado River winding through the high canyon walls. This shot was taken a couple hours before sunset, when everything changed. I highly recommend a late afternoon and sunset visit to this beautiful viewing point.

Multnomah Falls through a wet lens...
Here's a photo that I was hesitant to do anything with due to the fact that it was captured through wet lens. But, it was one of the better shots that I had that captured the upper and lower Multnomah Falls, along with the walking bridge above. Multnomah Falls is located in the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. Hope you enjoy, regardless of the smeary shot!

More of this, please!
I'm finally getting back up to Lake Tahoe this upcoming weekend, and I'm looking forward to watching some incredible sunsets. Like this one, that I shot last year at El Dorado beach in South Lake Tahoe.
